How we earn

The short version

Styled in Motion makes money two ways: affiliate commissions on some of the product links our creators share, and subscriptions paid by creators who use the platform to publish their looks. Shoppers never pay extra. Creators never pay to feature a specific brand.

Affiliate partnerships

We participate in the Sovrn Commerce and Skimlinks affiliate networks. When you click a product link on Styled in Motion and go on to make a purchase at a participating retailer, our network partner attributes that sale to us and we receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the retailer directly — affiliate tracking does not add fees, markups, or surcharges of any kind.

Not every product link earns a commission. Links to retailers outside our affiliate networks, and links to products whose retailers have opted out of affiliate programs, pass through untracked.

Editorial independence

Creators choose what they wear and what they feature. No retailer or brand pays to be included in a look or to be ranked higher in search. We don't accept sponsored posts. If a creator is compensated directly by a brand for content, that post belongs on the creator's own channels, not here.

Creator subscriptions

Creators pay a monthly or annual subscription to publish their closet and looks on Styled in Motion. Subscriptions cover hosting, photo storage, affiliate infrastructure, and ongoing platform development. See creator pricing for details.
